Sometimes starting over is the best thing to do

Blogging with consistency is difficult because it takes patience, hard work, and a passion for writing.  I’ve tried blogging several times before and haven’t had much success, primarily due to a lack of time.  Making time to read and blog is very important to the overall success of the website, but sometimes I make the mistake of doing too much reading and not enough writing.  Sure, keeping up on news around the Internet is an important part of the blogging process, but only when you contribute to the discussion do you truly challenge yourself and learn new things.

Rather than just import all my old posts and start with a comfortable body of content, I felt it would motivate me a little more to start completely from scratch.  Also, because my new WordPress theme is heavily dependent on custom fields and tagging, older posts probably wouldn’t look too great anyway.  So, here we go!
