Gutters Cleaned, Bed Put Together

Today I cleaned out the gutters just in time for the huge storm that’s just passing through now.  I also finished putting together the MANDAL bed from IKEA in the master bedroom.  Next I’ll be painting and re-trimming the entire upstairs.

I’m also weighing ripping up the floor and putting down new hardwood or at least refinishing the existing, but perhaps in the meantime I’ll stick with area rugs like this one by FLOR.

Here’s an interesting article that outlines a few ways to sell things online. It’s relevant because many business owners still believe it is difficult and risky to investigate e-commerce. Small businesses are less likely to extend their business to the web then individuals who have some crap in their garage that they want to sell.

My First House Project: Tree Removal

I just had almost two dozen trees cut down around the new house and it’s opened up the yard so drastically it’s almost unbelievable.  Sure, it’s not exactly a cool project, and yes, the yard looks shockingly horrible, but the only way to finish a race is to line up at the starting gate, no?
